Hmm, okay. I am still really confused on how to patch slc.dll. I do have it downloaded, but I can't figure out how to take ownership in system32 to replace it. Could anyone offer any additional instruction for this?
Right Click->Properties->Security->Click System then Edit->Click System then Add->Type your username into the box->Press Okay->Rename slc.dll to slc.dll.old->copy new dll in.
My account type is admin, and I just disabled UAC. It still won't work. I'll try restarting and I'll see if it will work then.
I'm not getting that, but it's saying it's not activated. But ah well. I disabled the timebomb, so i don't need it activated .
I never said it's activated for real. It just fools the locked features into thinking it's genuine and activated.
Okay, I restarted and I was able to add my user name, but when I try to apply the changes, I get the following error... "Unable to save permission changes on slc.dll. Access is denied." I am running on an admin account, and I have UAC disabled
