    Yeah, happened to me. Had todo a fresh install (gave me a change to use OOBE though ;D).

    I managed to "repair" witout that..just enter in safe mode and disable the touch ;))
    Nice that in safe mode Microsoft don;t made the touch stuff works ;) he heee
    Thanks anyway :D

    Is there any progress already on running miexplore.exe fullscreen?

    EDIT: I don't know about the boot updater. I've never ever changed my bootscreen so no experience.

    Yes I know what the problem was, I let wu search for updates but didn't install. Then I switched slc.dll, after that the already found updates failed.
    Now I get the vista updates, but that's a known error we can live with.

    Do you have the torko version? There are some very interesting internal tools in it. I don't know much about the file patching stuff, but I think there are potentionally usable tools among them.

    Some funny tools too.

    What exactly did you do to change it?? i read %WINDIR%\system32\AuthExt.dll but what am i supposed to do exactly?
