Ribbon is good for programs like Office/Paint where they added it now since you need these functions.
But in the Explorer is it not needed and would add only more confusing for users who like simple windows.
I like the way of the Explorer in Win7, its easy and fast. :)

Just be patient, and see it as an option and not as default :)

everything is going well, there is a lot of work because there are a lot if images in that dll and we can't know which one for what is it so we have to test every single one. send me a PM if you want and I'll give you my hotmail address, or send me yours, that way, the sooner I have the finished dll you'll get it :D

They're lazy. There's still the old disk space pie from Windows 95 times in 7850.

I believe that resource string in SensorsCpl.dll is talking about the 'proximity sensor' which I mentioned before, I think you should have a proximity sensor installed to see that in ui.

if you look closely that are the types of sensors with their general description:

Location : Detect your current location
Ambient Light : Adjust display brightness and keyboard backlight
Accelerometer : Orient your display automatically
    Proximity : Detect human presense
    Other

Those slides are talking about user logon and switch using a camera, I dont think a 'proximity sensor' could actually recognize you, and for settings about that the usercpl.dll should be the proper place, an a camera is an 'imaging device' not a 'sensor device' I believe.

so I dont think they are related.

but I spotted the integration of Microsoft Location Service or 'Orion' inside SensorsCpl.dll
