are you running an ATI video card and recently installed the new 12.8 driver? if so uninstall the driver and let windows reinstall the driver. i was getting crashes like you are getting and fixed it by doing that

Yes, I have ATI video card and the 12.8 driver. You uninstalled the driver and you let windows update to download and install the driver or you reinstalled it by yourself again ?

when windows restarted it installed the 12.8 driver again and all was fine. go to device manager, click on display adapter. select uninstall and restart. that fixed it for me

here i am using nightly build fo x64 and right plugins for 64
I donĀ“t use addons (only use addons with chrome) since ff is only for work

Try using the nightly buildings and that extension compatibility reporter to be able to use old addons, i did not have any crash with the builds

If you want real answers, you gotta post the crash report.

If you have Flash 11.2, it makes Firefox Crash in all versions of Windows. Its a known bug.

why you dont just try to make a fresh installation of firefox?. Wipeout everthing, every firefox directory and then install from zero. Oh, btw, did you made a fresh install windows 8 or just updated from 7?.

I found the solution. The problem is ATI 12.8 drivers. I installed 12.7 BETA and now firefox works ok !!!

I didn't ignore them. He told me that he reinstalled the same driver(12.8) so i did it and the crashes continued and i responded about it. No one said to install the previous beta driver !!
