I personally stick with Google Search Engine (while using Firefox) simply because they offer better search results and I use my tools of choice to keep my own level of privacy. I'd leave them for anyone who could provide me good search results. DuckDuckGo results were never to my liking, but if you really want privacy, I have never heard of anyone having a true reason to complain (as of yet).
But, how can i shut down, or lower the tracking in Google Search Engine? and can Google Search Engine also tracks/collects what you do on site's (Reddit, MDL) what you visit, read or change? and yeah it have good results and can iknow wich extensions you use for Privacy? :/ i'm already use Mozilla Firefox and uBlock origin.. Cheers
This post already outlines what I do to prevent or lower the risk of using Google https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/firefox-is-changing.74942/page-11#post-1385590 If I were to add any other tips, it would be to avoid using a Google Account and surf their site anonymously. However, you must do what you feel is best and no one here can tell you exactly what that is. All anyone here can ever do is make suggestions and perhaps give you a little advice from our own experience or knowledge (preferably, both). If privacy is your ultimate goal and you do not want to risk taking chances or playing "whack-a-mole" with Google's ever-changing policy concerning how they monitor folks, then perhaps DuckDuckGo is exactly what you are looking for. But I digress since again, the choice is yours and only you know what you are looking for or willing to accept. Further, you do not need anyone's permission to try new things or make choices based upon what you personally desire.
I'll think i'll just stick with Google Search Engine together with uBlock origin and Mozilla firefox.. Because i'll just use it for daily searches, maybe i'm to paranoid xD
Short question guys, doe's anybody knows if Mozilla Firefox 57 will come as a Update on the Stable version, or do you need to un-install Mozilla Firefox Stable and download the New version of FF?
Hey there, does anybody knows if Firefox 57 will come out on 14 November for Linux to? or only for Windows?
Being so close to the release date, I have decided to install the latest stable build of Firefox Quantum beta ..... Have to tell ya, they are not kidding, this browser is seriously fast. Of coarse I have just installed it, we will see how it reacts with some traffic under it's belt.
Windows Apple's Mac OS Linux Apple's iOS Andriod * Everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy Firefox Quantum (Firefox 57) on November 14th.
I will test out Linux (Ubuntu) on my Old computer, because i already failed with dead Motherboard when i tryed Ubuntu on a old computer, and totally forget Windows when Linux fits me Linux is open-source and totally free and no need for anti virus or firewall and they respect your Privacy itsn't so like W10 (big telemetry)
To correct, myself, Firefox Quantum (Firefox 57) will be released to Andriod on November 14th, but one of the newer CSS speed enhancements will be rolled out for Andriod on a later release. Do not despair, all the other enhancements and improvements for Andriod will be released on time (November 14) for Andriod. -- However, Google seems to be playing "whack-a-mole" with Mozilla at the moment. Guess we cannot expect them (Google) to make things that easy for Mozilla. This will not impact: Windows Linux Apple's Mac OS Apple's iOS As all the other OS's (operating systems) seem to be on time and feature complete as this single delayed feature only impacts Andriod.
