The web has changed. I can still remember watching pages taking hours to load and they had no photos of any kind, it was all text. My spouse tells me there was a time even before domain names. I think that was before I ever got online, though.
well I'll take 32bit installer while 64 bit take more resource ram used in many tab open.. poor me only 4gb ram installed
Both 4GB RAM or 6, 8 and more can run 64-bit OS as long as your Processor is 64-bit and i'll have not found any high RAM usage problem, or more resources on my PC that have's an 64-bit Processor, and OS.. with 4GB RAM and everything runs smooth on the latest Mozilla firefox version, i can actually watch 5-10 Youtube video's without lagg
just searching depend usage of 32bit browser and 64bit browser and I experienced self.. but installer have 32 &bit firefox quantum. just in case bug in windows or browser..
Problem with their latest builds, FF wants look secure so badly to compensate with Chrome that they crippled the user experience with their addon "restriction" forcing addon writers to recode their them. I used to use FF for its huge customization capabilities and addons library constantly maintained, now for the moment both are gone...i still use it, but more because of my job that anything else.
Firefox is now using a better format, web extensions, which is exactly what Google Chrome, Opera, and yes, even Microsoft Edge is using today. Hardly what I would call, "limited". Developers were given 1 full year, advance notice, to update their add-ons. If folks at Emsisoft failed to do so, you only have yourselves to blame.
Who talked about limited, i just say they reduced my experience by forcing Addons devs to recode them, whatever their reason is justified or not. What are you talking about, Emsisoft failed what? We don't develop addons LOL, do some researches before wrongly tackling people thanks...
I was addressing your browser integration. -- Unless you have done away with that. Yes, but you make that seem as though that is such a hard thing for you. If you can code a basic extension for Chrome, you can easily code for Firefox, and in some instances, use the same extension.
I don't recall we ever added any browser addons/integration, the only integration i recall was for outlook, maybe you are confounding with another security softs. IF you are a dev, sure, but what about common people? the point is that you don't do stuff for devs, you do for common people, and as a common user, until my addons are back, which is the main reason i and most people used FF back then, i won't be satisfied, whatever it is the addon's dev or FF to blame. Just my opinion, i will say the same with any other browsers.
Firefox is making the changes for add ons to improve user security, if it means losing an add on, oh well... there's always another that'll take it's place in no time
