This interested me. Me too install/test windows very often. Installing programs to a different location is very logical. But how do you overcome registery thingies those installed programs create? Could you please cover your methodes deeply? That could help people like me. Thanks.
@Imlost2 As the OS progresses, it's one disaster after another to a point where now constant bookkeeping is necessary. The best bet still is to go back and try and figure out a way to install some older OS like Win 10 1809 or even older like Win 7. The farther back you go, the less annoyances and more pleasant experience it becomes.
