    This interested me. Me too install/test windows very often. Installing programs to a different location is very logical. But how do you overcome registery thingies those installed programs create?
    Could you please cover your methodes deeply? That could help people like me. Thanks.

    As the OS progresses, it's one disaster after another to a point where now constant bookkeeping is necessary. The best bet still is to go back and try and figure out a way to install some older OS like Win 10 1809 or even older like Win 7. The farther back you go, the less annoyances and more pleasant experience it becomes.
