    Hi there,

I have a problem with my folders, everytime i need to press the button to get bigger icons (as how i wan't them to be) but every time i reboot my pc all folders are getting changed into detail mode (while i selected the normal icons or biggest icons)

Why is my windows changing that all the time ? i also got this problem with vista a few years ago :(

This may sound stupid but once you select larger icon setting have you selected tools folder options and clicked apply to save your settings.

    Hello all.

Same problem. After an update from "thehotfixshare.net" - same folder behavior. But, mine is always set back to "details".

I'll try SP1 from WZort and post the results.

    THX from Brazil.

    windows x64, 4GB RAM, HD 3TB, GTS250 1GB.

Just remembered folder view you may need to increase limit by default windows only remembers 400. info below from another web page.

increase Folder View Size Limit to 8000

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\BagMRU]
    [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam\Bags]

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell]
    "BagMRU Size"=dword:00001f40

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam]
    "BagMRU Size"=dword:00001f40

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
    "NoSaveSettings"=dword:00000000

Save as folderview.reg and double click to merge into registry.

    1. Installed the reg
    2. Changed some folders (new ones and old ones)
    3. Rebooted and checked if it got changed back in detail mode and it did not

Seems this fixed it :D, thanks.
