You will have to show a screencap of your browser on that page before I'll ever click an UNKNOWN LINK from an UNKNOWN MEMBER. And why did you file this in a Windows 11 subforum when you are clearly targeting "gamers". Good luck, I WILL NOT BITE. And I suggest NOBODY click that link !!! But maybe that's just me.
Brother that's a link to the Microsoft feedback app lol and it has a screen grab of the task manager showing the duplicate entries I'm not some random member either. Also this is an app that installs on windows 11 from the store don't be a dunce. I've been a member for 11 years if u bothered to check before trying to derail a post about getting an Xbox app bug fixed. Why act like that?
I'll admit a Mea Culpa on my initial gut reaction. Since Captain Kirk was willing to click that link, I figured what the heck, lol. But... It appears you have to have a "Microsoft Account" (or an OS that forces a Microsoft Account without jumping through hoops for a Local Account installation) for your aka.ms link to go anywhere other than a "join now" promo landing URL. So I can't give you any upvotes even if I did have XBox stuff enabled on my OS. Spoiler: where that link took me
If you don't want to login with Microsoft Account, this is what it looks line this on the feedback hub. Spoiler
Thanks. I still kind of think it should be in the Gaming section and not the Windows 11 section. But I'll concede that to be a fine line gray area.
"Gaming" is for issues with games and about games directly. This issue is with the XBOX App, that, while being related to and providing services for gaming, is not a game itself. Sometimes, finding the right category is not as clear it looks on first glance.
Noted. I'll report to the poster (slayer62) that upvoting seems limited to a very small number of folks. I intended to upvote just to support your thread, but I can't, no way, no how. All I get is a completely empty page. And I did verify that it wasn't any adblock extensions blocking it. This is on a fully updated Chromium browser. I've never used "Feedback Hub" before, so other visitors' mileage may vary. Spoiler: Feedback Hub
Damn sorry to hear that I'll try to find possibly a better way to link to the feedback hub if possible. The original link is what it gave me after I created it
It might be worth trying it again. I was obviously on earlier in the day, but a couple hours later it was giving me error messages. Reset the feedback hub app and rebooted a couple times. It eventually let me back in.
Appreciate you all so much for helping bring attention to the issue while cosmetic it is annoying and should be fixed with your alls help
Well they updated the app today but still no fix pass along my feedback report to anyone this affects so we get their attention so it gets fixed! Ty all in advanced
With your help we got this fixed as the latest insider version mentions this fix. Does anyone know of how to download it without enrolling into the insider app? @abbodi1406 do you maybe have a similar way with the offline insider enroll for maybe an offline Xbox insider enroll by chance? It downloads through the store when you enroll in the insider app so there has to be a way
This is the insider hub on PC you go in and join the Xbox app insider branch and it then downloads from the Microsoft store so there has to be a switch in the registry maybe somewhere that allows it similar to how your offline insider script works I just don't know for sure figured if anyone knew maybe you would maybe take a peek if u have a chance I'd love u forever @abbodi1406
