Just to let you all know as it's not mentioned in OP - it also provides 1 MAK for HPC/Web Server 2008 R2 and 1 MAK for HPC/Web Server 2008.
I went back today and looked again. This time I was able to get a key code and started to download the file. But I'm wondering what I'm downloading because the file is vhd_server_serverstandardeval_en-us.exe. This does not look like an iso that I can burn to a dvd. So how does this .exe file work? Anybody try it yet? FOLLOW-UP: I finished downloading the file and ran the exe. That produced a much larger vhd file. I ran that file and it created a virtual HD with the installation of Server 2012 already completed except for initial setup of password and a few other things. To me this is not what I expected and I'm back to downloading a version that I can burn to a DVD and then install on my server's HD.
And you can litterally use the key on 500 different machines. I have checked and verified with a PID checker and it is never wrong.
Confirmed, I checked back and got my 5 server keys to go along with my one free Dreamspark server key. Thanks!
If you click the "My Product Keys" tab, It will list all software available to you so you don't need to search everything to see what you can download.
Absolutely nothing. When your websitespark expires, it means nothing more than you won't be able to log back into it. As long as you have your keys, you are set for life my friend. Your machine will stay permanently activated
I just signed up and was able to access downloads and keys immediately from the welcome email "Welcome to WebsiteSpark". What I found cool is Visio 2013 and Office 2013 as release candidate is available and makes me hope RTM will show up too once it's available!
Thx - worked fine for me. i need the 32-bit (if theirs any) hi Xtreem i'm just wondering if the Win Server 2012 Standard Edition a beta or trial version or it's already the final/release version? besides, is it a 32-bit or 64-bit that you're able to download? you must have a golden hands, as well, a lucky guy to acquired such soft copies cheers!
You don't HAVE to (I didn't); I registered and grabbed singles of Server 2012 Standard and VS 2012 Professional.
It's the final/RTM version - I'm dual-booting it with 8 Pro x64 (different drives). There has been no x32 version of Windows Server since 2003 R2. Standard is above Essentials, but below Datacenter/HPC Server; however, like Essentials, it includes the Hyper-V Server role (which is why I grabbed it, for use for my Hyper-V home lab).
