    What OS are you running and does it have admin tools --> Event Viewer and if so what does it report?

    if you have a wireless card, update the driver or better still remove that card if you can,
    just to eliminate it
    this was a big problem for me and others some time back

    what are the model of the network cards you have

    Update all driver:
    - chipset
    - Lan
    - WiFi
    - SATA
    - Bios
    All drivers from the gigabyte site or search for the newest driver on the net.

    +1 Fixed my problem; video card had nothing to do with it.
