I have downloaded the following Vista RTM SP1 iso, burned it to DVD, formatted my hard drive and made a fresh install of it (Vista Ultimate 32bit). 6001.18000.080118-1840_x86fre_Client_en-us-FRMCFRE_EN_DVD.iso I have purchased Vista 32bit Ultimate and will use the serial to activate the SP1 RTM when I am happy with it. However I believe I have already experienced one of the driver issues Microsoft have been talking of. I use an old 56K modem for back up incase of broadband failure and also for sending and receiving FAX. I have never had any problems before SP1. After making my fresh install and installing the Modem drivers, it is showing as GOOD in Device Manager. .....BUT after a reboot or two I then see that in Device Manager the modem has a yellow exclamation mark on it. When I check it displays... Device Status: This device cannot start (Code 10). Resources: This device isn't using any resources because it has a problem. I never had any problems before SP1. Does anybody know what could be happening here?
