    Hi,

    I have a C710 here. It had an old BIOS 4.6.5.3 R1.11.0.

It wouldnt update to the lates one (4.6.5.3 R1.23.0.) as it cried it is not compatible.

So I updated manually, BIOS by BIOS and it worked until 4.6.5.3 R1.22.0 when it suddenly froze at 1% using windows. (Yes, I used the Windows Updater)

    BIOS - Change V4.6.5.3 R1.22.0 for D3164-A1x
    ====================================================

    - Fixed: System did not boot if only a DVD drive with
a bootable media is connected and in BIOS Setup /
Boot menu the Boot Removable Media is disabled.

    - Support for Windows 8.1.

    - Update Intel ME.

    - Improve Wake On LAN behavior.

    - Add new Wake On LAN Feature "Try LAN Boot first".

    - Solve problem with Power Failure Recovery set to
    "Disabled".

    - Fixed: Disabled boot options were shown in Boot
    menu.

    - Solve system crash with chipcard security feature.

Do these Fujitsu machines still offer some kind of Crisis Recovery ?

    p.s.
It still boots to Windows, showing BIOS 4.6.5.3 R1.20.0 beeing active.

and it would finally let me flash the 4.6.5.3 R1.23.0, SKIPPING the 4.6.5.3 R1.22.0.

Still, Id love to know if there is Crisis Recovery on this device. :)
