    You can change the text color with Windows 7 StyleBuilder....but I've tried that already and it doesn't work, I mean text become white/unreadable again once you put white background behind... that's the "beauty" of start menu trick, I think that you can't have it all :D

    thx for nice theme. When I choose option to show control panel as menu, it has a white background also administrative tools.

    That part never was transparent; I don’t even think it’s possible to make it.....could I be wrong?! :rolleyes:

    i have problems with Radio Sure, i can't see the stations list :(

    If anyone else has problems with viewing, try this theme i found, it's not as extreme, but is nicely tweaked, with the blue progress bars, and i love the clickable list in the address bar. :)

    it's called AeroVG Se7en RTM

    I was wondering... could you tell me how you made the background under the all programs tab of the start menu transparent as well? or may be... the background could be replaced with an image file?

    Backgrounds/images doesnt have to be changed with this because there are none :biggrin:
    Black will make it totally clear...you can try using lighter colors to add little tint and/or blur.

    Start Menu > Menus > Aero > Hover:TreeView (and deselect compositedopaque:bool)
    Start Menu > Menus > Basic > Hover:TreeView (add this property - color : fillcolor - your color)
    Start Menu > Menus > Aero > Hover:TreeView > TreeItem (add this property - color : textcolor - your color)
    Start Menu > Menus > Aero > KeyBoard:TreeView (and deselect compositedopaque:bool)
    Start Menu > Menus > Basic > KeyBoard:TreeView (add this property - color : fillcolor - your color)
    Start Menu > Menus > Aero > KeyBoard:TreeView > TreeItem (add this property - color : textcolor - your color)

    Oh dude! how can I remember all this? I use about 30 different visual styles and I changed/edited a lot of images inside them :D
