I have been testing Win10 Pro on a couple of machines as various releases and updates were made to Insiders. Stand alone and Win 7 upgrade. I have reported numerous problems, some fixed and some not. The main problem with a direct upgrade from a clean Win 7 install was that Win 10 killed the internet and I could not get it to work. Clean installs of Win 10 did not have the same problem.

Win 10 is not ready for RTM especially for all of the millions who have no computer knowledge.

I would recommend waiting a few months before you upgrade especially from Win 7. o_O

Never used Win 8. Tried Win 8.1 and stayed with Win 7.

Personally, I think the Win 7 desktop is much more appealing and not so cluttered.

    Just my humble opinion FWIW.

    Good Luck

Question stays why you opened in Win 7 sub-forums :hmm:?

Good point. Maybe I should have put in the Win 10 sub-forum, but I was wanted more Windows 7 users to see it. If it is considered inappropriate under Win 7, Please move.

    Thanks
