    Oh ok its been so long since i installed that slic. Maybe it was dell. But that link is for f5 witch i have thats 2.0 they are up to f8 on gigabytes website was hoping for a 2.1 newer one.

    See i already have f5 with slic 2.0 i was hoping to get a f8 the newest with 2.1 slic. That way after i flash ill be just waiting for the cert.

    Here's what I did (I'm currently running Vista Ultimate x64):

    Flash your bios with a HP 2.1 slic (available eslsewhere on this forum) and then use a HP cert (also available elsewhere on this forum). Vista will work fine and you'll be ready for Win 7.

    I cant seem to download the tool from any of the links. the main link comes up dead and the io one is and endless circile and cant seem to start the download.
