games will not start in windows 10

    I can install hidden object games. that worked in windows 7,8 but not 10. no errors come up
    it just will not start.

    I assume you tried compatibility mode I run games from 2006-07 and set them to run as administrator I have played old hidden objects games on windows 10 pro 64bit

    Try to install directx9c.

    Since it's been bumped anyway, some things I have had to do to get older games working on Win 10:

    1. Enable .NET 3.5
    Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features On or Off > .NET Framework 3.5 - Tick the box

    2. Enable DirectPlay
    Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features On or Off > Legacy Components > DirectPlay - Tick the box

    3. Install Directx 9.0c as mentioned.

    yep dude make one little test try run this amazing game that I love for years: 3DP.EXE search on google of course it is from M$FT since ah! I don't remember maybe Windows 95 lol :D:p

    first is to run with administer privileges a second with compatibility mode with older Win. versions . May be some additional softwares needs to be installed.

    I still enjoy older games from 2003-2008 it took a little tinkering to get some of the screen sizes right and at times I spend hours in a brain dead mode playing them LOL
