Its often the way sadly, people workout what the problem is and disappear without coming back and saying what happened and how they fixed it. The particular RAM I'm interested in is not the Kingston but the G.Skill. I've only heard good things about the G.Skill modules, my searching has more to do with who's actually pulled apart the laptop and installed RAM successfully. But alas I'm already running into issues with this laptop ...
The reparable level for some systems is effing low and annoying. You would wonder why some makers want their products repair to be difficult.
What do you mean? Overclocked/Underclocked values or mismatched memory speeds? I always thought it was more of a timings issue than frequency.
