Is it possible to install the Geforce 181.22 WHQL on win7 ? On the NVidia website, they say the drivers will be provided though windows update.....
Here is an amazing idea, start setup and check why are you having beta OS installed in 1st place, if such a simple task as trying if drivers are working seems to be so scary for you? edit: bottom line yes they work fine, but they are WDDM 1.0 when "true" win7 drivers will be WDDM 1.1
I installed them in Home Premium - 64 bit. No issues with installation. I can set it to my desired screen resolution, 1400 x 1050, which the previous version, 181.21 would not do. So to answer your question Cornmeister - yes you can. However, there is always the chance the hardware/software difference between machines may cause issues. If you have any doubt, go without. ETA - re-ran the WEI - no change at all. ETA2 - After a few minutes with 181.22 drivers, I removed them and returned to the WDDM 1.1. The 1.1 set seems clearer/sharper to me. My work here is done.
