Is it possible to install the Geforce 181.22 WHQL on win7 ?
On the NVidia website, they say the drivers will be provided though windows update.....

Here is an amazing idea, start setup and check :) why are you having beta OS installed in 1st place, if such a simple task as trying if drivers are working seems to be so scary for you?

edit: bottom line yes they work fine, but they are WDDM 1.0 when "true" win7 drivers will be WDDM 1.1

I installed them in Home Premium - 64 bit. No issues with installation. I can set it to my desired screen resolution, 1400 x 1050, which the previous version, 181.21 would not do.

So to answer your question Cornmeister - yes you can.

However, there is always the chance the hardware/software difference between machines may cause issues.

If you have any doubt, go without.

ETA - re-ran the WEI - no change at all.

ETA2 - After a few minutes with 181.22 drivers, I removed them and returned to the WDDM 1.1. The 1.1 set seems clearer/sharper to me.

    My work here is done.
