Guys, a quick question, on how many machines can the DreamSpark keys be activated on (in particular, the Server keys)?
they are legally only allowed to activated on one machine, it is a 1 activation MAK key. However though you usually get 2-3 online activations before you have to call to activate the key, when you call you get like another 2-3 automatic phone activations before you have to talk to a CSR. I have never had a CSR not activate a key, I have used my dreamspark key to activate all my machines here at home.
Yeah, just saw a thread that mentioned the keys are MAK keys. But multiple activations on the same machine are still possible, I assume?
I tried that once before and it still wanted me to phone in. Those that are having difficulty with IE just remember to "continue to site anyway" since the security certificate is still giving the warnings.
Hello, I have received key for "win2k8 standatd" as I can activate with this key my "win2k8 enterprise edition", thanks! If it is possible. If it is possible more in detail. Thanks big. Sorry for my english.
I couldn't obtain the activation key for R2 I joined this site to say that I wasn't able to obtain a key for Server R2. Microsoft changed the way Dreamspark works. Now it sends an email to the email address at Henan University of IT. I cannot access that email account. Any other ideas? Can someone PM me a working key so I can use?
Could you PM me a key? I tried two China proxies, but couldn't get the key. It kept going to the page that sends email to the Henan email account.
Would someone be kind enough to PM me a key for win server 2008 R2. Every time I try to get to that site it times out when I try straight through and via proxy. What the heck am I doing wrong. I would greatly appreciate it. thx
Don't enter a product key when you install, after you install go to enter the key page, activate, and you are all set
When I try to do without proxy I time out in both IE and FF. When I use a proxy, when I try to sign into windows live it says I need javascript enabled. It already is. I get this with both FF and IE. thx
