Gigabyte P35-DS4 sleep deactivation softmod

    Hi,

    I know there's a fix for this problem when modifying the BIOS, but I don't want to go down that route.

    I wasn't able to find a fix for the sleep problem using VistaLoader on the P35-DS4 Rev 2

    Activation has been done through VistaLoader 2.1.3 (used voatk tools to remove previous activation).

    Any ideas?

    Edit:
    For those of you that don't know about the sleep problem: basically after you put the computer into sleep, or hybrid sleep Vista is not activated any more, a reboot is required to re-activate which defeats the purpose of sleep mod.

    SP1 overwrites the area where the slic is placed by vistaloader when it comes out of sleep. You need to change vistaloader source to load the slic in a non-used area. applies to ga only. Just mod the bios.

    How would I go about doing that then? Or would I need to hard mod my BIOS to sort the problem?
