I have been using this software for over 7 years.

Here are some info on Eset Smart Security:

Detection Rates:- Eset's detections rates are best in industry. However recent test revealed Eset has 97% of detection rate which is very good and better than many Suits. Malicious and Phishing Site blocking is excellent.

Infection Removal/Repair:- I've never got infected with virus while using Eset so I can't tell my personal opinion about infection removal. Eset does outstanding job while blocking threats.

UI/ System load:- This is where Eset shines. User Interface is very very easy to use. Eset doesn't hog your system resources. It is very lighter than any other Security suit. If you have old PC or netbook, Eset is your best choice. Really Very light on CPU and RAM.

Extras/ Other Features:- You will be surprised by strange feature,its Anti Theft. Yes, Anti Theft for your Mobile PC. This could be helpful at times. Eset's Anti Spam is very effective.

Conclusion:-
This is the best PC Security software I have ever come across. Used it in high-end as well as crappy computers. It never made me feel that I have an antivirus running in the background.But always catches and eliminates threats whenever they come and suggests when something is dangerous or fishy. Never faced anything wrong with my computers as long as this software is running.
