Once upon a time there was FlashGet, then Download Accelerator Plus when finally IDM came out, conquering them all.

I encourage everyone to purchase a license if they dont win since installing cracked/patched version will ALWAYS infect your pc, it's like giving up your bank password...
Hackers love it and they update everything promptly, that's why you can easily find a crack for the latest version because they cannot wait to give you the most recent infection and take control of your PC/life.

Fav feature, Chrome plugin. It uses websockets to communicate between browser and software and it's very secure. AAAAnd regardless of what google does, youtube download always works.

Why I want it - because I don want to use patchers/cracks. Best features - excellent way to get videos from youtube and super fast multi-threaded downloads. Tried a lot of free downloaders. IDM beats them all.

I need a licence for Internet Download Manager because JDownloader is definitely not doing the trick for me.

 

I've never used a download manager. IDM appears to be the one to use if your going down that path. Curious how it might speed up downloading and help me centralize most (all?) my downloads.
