Hi lostpassword; Actually I totally understand what you are getting at and why you have the multiple emails, and no its not OCD, paranoia or whatever; It does actually make a lot of sense......yes i also have several email addresses and over the years have had many which are now no longer in use. There was a time in computing when it was the only safe way to access sites, majority of which are now no longer with us and it was a prerequisite for downloading. Anyway onto your dilemma and the post from earlier about forwarding onto the onto the one Gmail email address, this was something that was possible and as far as I am aware still is, so when LostED made his exclaimation I to had the same reaction so i checked. I have just completed the forwarding, (to another Gmail address), to to verify what I am about to say so I know it still works. Go into the account settings, cog wheel top right and down to settings. Select 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP' and input the address you want to use to receive the emails A confirmation will be sent to the receiving email address, just respond and it will be all set up Should be then good to go and your issue resolved.
The problem with Gmail is that they require a mobile number for verification, and some forums ask for "real emails", I think by real they are referring to mainstream email services like Gmail and Yahoo. I wouldn't use my mobile number to create an email for any forum. I wish there was some way to create Gmail accounts without the need for a mobile number
Lostpassword I alsoo have a couple of Gmail accounts and I always use Pop Peeper first to read my mail and delete not interesting mail or mail I don't want in my Outllook.pst befere opening Outlook.
