I'm afraid to use kaspersky again. I tried the technical preview with Win 7 beta earlier in the year and it completely crashed the system. Wouldn't start up at all! I'll go with something else.
i am having KIS 2010 on windows 7 and it rocks. Problem you may have faced due to both Win 7 and kaspersky being beta versions with many bugs. Give it a try now
Have to agree KIS 2010 was a nice change from previous KIS. Just seems to run smoother and use less resources. But i've tried both KIS and Nod32 both run pretty well under Win 7 x86 + x64.
i had been always scared of using cracks for antivirus products. And kaspersky in India is too cheap to afford costing just around 14-15$ for 3 user's license. I buy it everytime
keys do not work for the english version of KAV 2010, might have to change the localization to chinese before using the key
I tried Kaspersky Antivirus 2010 ..after installed it disabled windows Firewall .Later i turned on windows firewall again and KAV started using very high memory ...But why KAV wants to Disable Windows default Firewall??
Can you or, someone else, please post a screenshot of the page where to change the language setting? I've tried finding it myself but the present language is all "Greek" to me. . Thanks...
Here's how to accept Chinese keys but keep your current language (English in the following instructions): 1. Disable Self Defense in Kaspersky Anti-Virus. 2. At C:\Program Files\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010\Skin\loc, copy the folder en to sch. 3. At HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\protected\AVP9\environment, change Localization from en to sch. 4. Enable Self Defense in Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
