For everyone else that is having problems singing into Xbox live in LTSB version, I can confirm this menthod works, and you don't even have to use system restore! Just unintall Xbox app and Xbox Identity Provider app (using powershell), restart the system, install Xbox Identity Provider app from the store and then Xbox app, and everything works!

The OP should be updated because clearly the Xbox Identity Provider package is most likely not installed properly.

    Thanks

If I want to remove the xbox stuff manually, do I remove both of these or just the APPXBUNDLE?

To the fella who was asking why Forza 7 wouldn't install, there is your answer, you need to be running the 1703 Creators Update build at a minimum to get the app installed. Next time, you just need to scroll down further to the System Requirements and remember that LTSB 2015 is based on Windows 10 RTM (Build 10240), LTSB 2016 is based on Windows 10 Anniversary Update (Build 14393) and we won't see another LTSB until 2019 which will be based on 1903 or 1909 depending on when it is released.

Side Note: That should be when the next full version of Windows Server comes out and will be based on the same build as LTSB 2019.

Also to @GOD666 and @abbodi1406: Thank you very much for the work you have put in to get the Store running on LTSB, I was originally going to make the jump to 1709 once I rebuilt my home lab, but I realised that by the time I did that, 1803 will have been released and Aero Glass for Windows, StartIsBack, etc. all the things I use to customise my machine, will need to be updated and I only really need the myTube app (YouTube's website is literal aids).

So once my home lab's domain controller is up and running, I will be surely switching over to LTSB 2016 and using the Store to install myTube, the Mail and Calendar apps and perhaps Facebook Messenger and that will be about it, I'll be able to have Windows Update running again and it will be just like old times when you had plenty of time to settle on a Windows release.

So again, thank you for investing the time into doing this.

I get "This app has been blocked by your system administrator" after attempting to run store after method #1.

You need to be an administrator to run this. Run it as admin too.

    Help with what, exactly?

Did you restarted Windows after unisntalling Xbox app and Xbox Identity Provider app?
How did you install Xbox Identity Provider app after?

Maybe I just was lucky and did not need to use system restore (or clean install) but if you followed what I wrote and it still doesn't work I'm sorry I can't help you, I'm not exactly familiar with such stuff.

I am going to double-down on what @blue.dot has said. If you cannot get it to work, you could uninstall all the apps including the store, using one of the many apps or scripts found on this site, then simply use step #1 and delete the files for Xbox before running the install. @abbodi1406 explained this a few pages back and it is also explained in post #1 too... Whatever apps you do not want, just delete them before running the install... ie... The corresponding install files that you saw after extracting the zip, that matched the apps you do not wish to have.

    Changed thread title from

Add Store to Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB (LTSC)

    TO:

Add Store to Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC (LTSB)

As going forward Microsoft will be of course calling it LTSC and more and more online documentation via search will follow this too. It makes sense now to make it the primary. :)

Dramatically cleaned up post #1 for preparation of Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018 further retiring both the old method (archived) and methods #2 and #3 (archived). After the official release of Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018, only 2018 going forward will be supported. Although the archive will remain for those who still need it.

Pretty sure I messed up and did the incorrect method for my version of windows 10.
My question is, is there an easy fix or would it be easier to reinstall windows and do the correct method?
My windows 10 is the 2016 LTSB version and I'm 99% sure I did the LTSC version.
Sorry if this was discussed previously and thank you in advance!
