10176.16384 packages are compatible with 10240.16384.
26085.1 packages are compatible with 26100.1.

Q: I can use 10176.16384 to reconstruct 10240.16384. But I can not use 26085.1 to reconstruct 26100.1. Why?

While Reconstruction, there may be an error caused by incompatible "Advanced Installer".

e.g. Reconstruction from 17784.1068 to 17763.1.

 

touchpad needs at least .3031 version of hidclass.sys, hidparse.sys and hidusb.sys.

Q: Does Reconstruction Source have to be a "full" image?

 

I never compare the time consuming among different ways.
