The fix for Windows 10, Build 10240 x86 (Version 1507 LTSB) SSShim.dll seemed that has issue. My step is that: 1. apply all updates, and .NET Framework 4.6.2 except LCU 2025-10, SSU 2025-10 2. Apply Fix for SSShim.dll issue. 3. Apply the remain updates (SSU 2025-10, LCU 2025-10) 4. saving image. the deployment step is success, but after installed to the Windows has lots of issue. I only have VMWare Workstation 25H2, I will test in VMWare Workstation 25H2. and found the issue: 1. after boot from power off mode, the Windows 10 VM will crashed with bug check code 0x7F, and then work normal after reboot. 2. Windows Update will response the error code 0x8024402F. 3. After running `dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup /resetbase` then reboot, Windows 10 cannot boot with BugCheck 0x7f I have tried with these steps to deploy the install.wim, it build and installed successfully. 1. Install original release iso to Hyper-V 2. patched with Windows Update 3. using dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup /resetbase to cleanup the windows components 4. Boot to audit mode 5. Delete account which oobe creates. 6. go to new oobe mode, shut down, turn to Window PE, capture image. After these steps, it successed for install. and no these issue occured in VMWare Workstation version 25H2.
Q: 10240.16384, one build. 10240.16384 + CU, another build? 10240.16384 needs SSShim tweak. CU needs SSShim tweak too?

Good. BTW, two questions: 1. "Install original release iso" is no more Reconstruction. 2. Before capturing image, did you delete "\Users\Administrator"?

End of service statement October 14, 2025—KB5066791 (OS Builds 19044.6456 and 19045.6456) Q: Except ESU, is it possible to convert existent AC system to LTSC?
Reconstruction needs "initial" build "without" any update, not "official release". e.g. [Good] 10240.16384, 14393.0, 17763.1, 19041.1, 20348.1, 26100.1. [Bad] 18362.30 (18362.1 + 18362.30 CU) and 19044.1288 (19041.1 + 19041.1288 CU + 19044 Enablement) etc. are "official release" "with" updates. This is 19041.1 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...-editions-reconstructions.88605/#post-1850661
Is there a rebuilt version of "25398.1916" en-US with the Enterprise SKU + Explorer Shell available? Need it for a specific project.
