how to install Microsoft-Windows-Security-SPP-Component-ExtendedSecurityUpdatesAI component?

 

I don't know if 20348.1 is still possible to convert to EnterpriseS and with latest cumulative updates.
Well I've saw previous posts though, like 25398.1 or 22621.1 with EnterpriseS.
(looking for EnterpriseS with dism SKU reporting)

 

Latest cumulative updates on 20348 Client are not possible (for now).

It's not pure Client, it's modified Server with LTSC license.

 

I see, I can see the desktop icon text looks bit different.

i know that there is a script to do that (by abbodi1406). i thought that it can be done by installing Microsoft-Windows-Security-SPP-Component-ExtendedSecurityUpdatesAI component

i constructed 25398 with explodesxs.
in skuassembly.txt i set professional, but after installation i see edition as enterprise.
and second in installed apps list i see microsoft edge entry without possibility to uninstall (aveyo script works, but internet is required - i want to do it offline)

i tried to construct 25398 with stagesxs, but got "access denied" error (cmd opened by nsudo of course with temp folder created in x:\image\windows\

As of 16299.15, each Edition is standalone.
From 17134.1 forward, the Edition is 'Parent" and "Virtual".

As aforementioned, 25398 Professional's default Edition is "Enterprise". You want it to be "Professional"? Set Pro key.

stageSxS is for 22000.1. For other Builds, it needs its own ServicngStack.

explodeSxS is based on stageSxS. It supports many Builds.

 

the hardest thing is to come up with a simple solution - it's good to listen to the wise
in latest cu there is no servicingstack

 

You have to conquer "ServicingStack" to avoid "access denied" error.
