    Here the trap
    Code:
            //
            // Overlap check.
            //
            srcLen = _strlen(lpResolvedSource);
            dstLen = _strlen(lpResolvedDest);
            if ((srcLen < dstLen && _strncmpi(lpResolvedDest, lpResolvedSource, srcLen) == 0 && lpResolvedDest[srcLen] == TEXT('\\')) ||
                (dstLen < srcLen && _strncmpi(lpResolvedSource, lpResolvedDest, dstLen) == 0 && lpResolvedSource[dstLen] == TEXT('\\')))
            {
                supConsoleWriteErrorLine(&gConsole, TEXT("SXSEXP: Source and destination paths overlap"));
                uResult = ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER;

    i'm not a member either (i thought that you are)

    have you tried this?

    Newest MsDelta changes
    If you are having trouble expanding files, try using updatecompression.dll instead of the default msdelta.dll. Simply rename updatecompression.dll to msdelta.dll and place it in the same directory where sxsexp is located

    If folder to folder, Ok.
    If subfolder to folder, use '\' as suffix
    Code:
    sxsexp x\y\ x\
