GUIDE: How to backup and restore Windows 8 activation

Backup and Restored successfully with Advanced Tokens Manager v3.4. Activated by MAK key

 

Hello, you made ​​the backup with Advanced Tokens Manager of phone activation? Because to me it did not work!

 

This really does work..was worried if i re-installed and failed to activate..used MSDN copies to install and im still activated..very useful topic and also used the tool to verify it was...upon reboot i had the watermark up for a few secs..desktop refreshed..watermark was gone...checked the activation area and said i was activated so tyvm for a damn useful thread

Back up and restored perfectly ! I just copied the folder, reinstalled, slmgr /ipk *MAK KEY*, disabled internet, copied back and asked (in Control Panel) for activation. I had no need of slmgr /upk or safe mode.

Windows 8 RTM X86 activated with a MAK key.

 

I activated using MAK key over internet. Attention: Same driver of storage and chipset

 

The next version promises activate Phone Activated Keys.

I need of testers for it and I haven't found many for it.

Please archive this activation files and wait for the next update.

 

Did back-up all files "Store"
After i did a clean install off Win8 Dutch ,before it was English.
Safe mode replacing the files but after reboot no luck Win8 no more activated

i've already said this in another thread but once again i tried this method, same machine, same windows version, same hardware but it didn't worked

Why are people suggesting to use a program to backup activation?? Is there a problem with the simple "copy store folder" method described in the first post of this thread?

 

Simply, some activation channels never will be activated only copying this files.

 

Does backup working on migration from x32 to x64 ?

 

It also works the method of activation by phone. Just copy the folder "store" and enter the serial number used to activate the command slmgr.vbs-ipk and it works! I hope this is a board for everyone. Hello

If i want to update my bios after activated my windows 8, is it possible to backup spp folder and restored after format my pc without losing the activation or shouldn't doing the bios update??

 

i follow steps 1-6, but i have to delete and copy spp using lunix's boot , becaue windows don't let me delete this folder; but after delete and copy spp; don't work
and my question is, what is my error? what's worng? thanks

 

So i've got activated retail Windows 8 Pro RTM Will this work or is it only for Win8 Enterprise i,ve seen in some posts its not worked but i do not no if they have not followed the guide properly can someone who is not a newbie Confirm this works on Windows 8 Pro Thanks.
