I agree that Advanced Tokens Manager is brill out there at the moment. Many thanks. I did this way to activated Wins 8 Pro offline then activated WMC offline :

Activated and Backup License (make sure internet is connected):

Step one : Open CMD with Admin and type the following each :

    slmgr /ipk *****-*****-*****-*****-*****
    slmgr /skms ***.***.*.**:****
    slmgr.vbs -ato
    slmgr /ckms

Step two : Open Advanced Tokens Manager Part A and click back up now

Step three : Add on features for Windows Media Center and use this key below :

    *****-*****-*****-*****-***** (to become permanent activated)

Step four : Open Advanced Tokens Manager Part B and click back up now

Now check for activation status - open CMD with Admin and type the following each :

    slmgr -xpr

    slmgr -dli

    slmgr -dlv

Restore Activation and Restore License (make sure internet is disconnected):

Step one : Open Advanced Tokens Manager Part A and click restore now

Step two : Add on features for Windows Media Center and use this key below :

*****-*****-*****-*****-***** (it will say windows is not activated - don't worry about it)

Step three : Open Advanced Tokens Manager Part B and click restore now (it now permanent activated)

Step four : Now check for activation status - open CMD with Admin and type the following each :

    slmgr -xpr

    slmgr -dli

    slmgr -dlv

And that's it, you now have fully permanent activated without internet and
please remember these both Advanced Tokens Manager Parts must be on the
same pc (hardware) with the same solid state or hard disk to be fully working.

P.S. You need to copy Advanced Tokens Manager in two folders eg: renamed Part A and Part B as
Part A is for Windows 8 Pro Activation, and Part B is for Windows Media Center!

    Josh,
    Obrigado man
I havent tried this yet, but I think installing fresh win 8-Restoring activation with ATM, then adding MC feature with key since they are all good will work. Did you have any scenario like that? I just assume it should work

I get that man, I am saying it may be easier to just restore activation to win8 pro, then just add MC to it by means of "ADD FEATURE', it only takes couple min and reboot instead of going through the hassle of integrating an ISO with win8 MC.

Android OS - no need activation.
Google Chorme OS - no need activation.
Mac OS - no need activation.
Linux OS - no need activation.
Microsoft OS - must activation one per pc (Microsoft should change to no need activation for Windows 9 next) I bet all employees and staff at Microsoft had Windows 8 DVD (without activation)

Afaik, nope. After that major change in hardware you will loose activation. ATW won´t work in that case, i guess, due to CRC-Check failure.

When you say "Add MC" do you mean using the free-from-MS WMC key?? Remember that free key won't work after 1/31/2013.
So what you listed may only work for the next 3 months if I understand it correctly.

Without a hardware change triggering a new activation, the WMC-Key is permanent, and activation can be restored only after installing a Pro WMC Version. You only can´t activate your machine after jan 2013 with that key again.

Microsoft had confirmed me that free WMC until 31st January 2013 doesn't mean the key will expire but it will let you re-installing WMC on same hardware as long you had the key before January 31st 2013. After that date it will be a fee of £6.99 to purchase WMC key. So bit confused if our WMC remain activated until January 31st 2013 or faced with a new key a one off fee of £6.99 ?. Microsoft will not say anything more.

Indeed the CRC Check only see if the stored CRC on Config.ini match with the current Tokens / Data.dat stored on Windows Activation Backup directory, not really look into the hardware ID..

But the activation can be lost with major hardware changes that will modify your hardware code stored on the file.

I haven't seen a WMC Pro ISO. Since that is the case, if I re-install Windows 8 Pro, can I just restore the activation via the activation backup/restore method, then upgrade to WMC via the add features using the free MS promotional key?

When I make a backup/ restore as In this tread, does this also works when I change only my HDD on the same laptop/pc ?
Or Is this a "Major hardware change" and don't let the restore activation method to work ?

When I make a backup/ restore as In this thread, does this also works when I change only my HDD on the same laptop/pc ?
Or Is this a "Major hardware change" and don't let the restore activation method to work ?

I want to activate my computers before januari with the WMC email keys and use the backup/restore method for instal after januari.

    OPTION 1

Collect an extra hdd and put as single hdd in my computer instal windows 8, activate with WMC email key and make a backup/restorewith the token manager.
Do this also with the other computers.

    OR

    OPTION 2

Collect an extra hdd and put as single hdd in my computer instal windows 8 with the ISO Windows 8 pro with WMC,and make a complete system copy with the option in windows 8,save the system copy on a external HDD,do this also with the other computers and when I want to use Windows 8 after januari I use the Windows 8 with WMC iso and restore with the recovery (for each computer) from my external HDD.

please comfirm what option works the best, i think option 2 is a good option, because than I can also put my programs in Windows 8 before I make a complete system copy (i have enought space for the restore files so that is not a problem).

    Thanks for thinking with me

    Best regards
