    LOL, of course. But why not do it the simple and easy way? Many people has more than 2 machines, just plug in another CPU and boot, then he will find out for sure. :D

    Can i transfer Windows 8 Activation from Oracle VM VirtualBox, where i have registered Windows 8 Enterprise to Windows 8 on computer?

    Also beware that if you have activated with the KMS server and backed up you activation, you cannot re-install Win 8 onto a different hard drive. I have tried this and re-installed onto one of my two identical OCZ drives ,but no activation was possible until I put it back onto the original OCZ drive.

    Q: Can I restore Windows 8 Enterprise x64 activation to Windows 8 Enterprise x86 on same hardware/notebook? I want to replace x64 with x86 due to some software compatibility problems.

    That is suck. Than how am I gonna change my HDD to SSD without loosing the activation?

    From x 86 to x 64 Windows 8 pro I did and it works

    srry for my bad english
    i re-installed without backup
    so i used this for recovery : Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery - Professional
    i got my store folder but i dont know why i cant active that ,

    last week i activated windows 8 pro and i had to reinstall them.. all files have been saved in windows.old.. i tried to use this method from page 1. and it didnt work.. does it supposed to? do i have to reinstall windows ?

    Did you copy & paste the Store folder in Safe Mode?

    yes i did... i did everything from the first post only i didnt reinstall windows? is that really necessary?

    my win8 is installed on VHD drive, so then i copy this file and restore on bootmgr after fresh install for example vista/7 my activation status are still enabled?

    Yes of course!!! It works only if you RE-INSTALL Win 8.

    I reinstalled W8RTM Pro followed the instructions step by step but unfortunately it didn't work on my PC. I was thinking that some guys must be missing out something, but no I dosent work on every PC :(

    Would not simply using the Volume Activation Management Tool, I used version 2.0, to backup and restore the activation work?

    Someone tested the procedure successfully?

    It works? I can't found the command "backup".

    What do you really mean by reinstalling?

    A clean install after formatting HDD or simply running the installer without formatting.

    Please confirm
