I wanna laugh and make more jokes but I keep remembering what Yen said and I wanna respect the dude...lol
What happened to the other two files in your signature? And, do you think M$ will release an update to fix the loophole?
As long as MS exist there will be a loop hole to get around the encryption its like sayin will Michael Jackson ever have no jokes about him I think not haha...
if i remember correctly, Windows 7 product activation function will keep reminding user how many days left, more and more towards the end of countdown can anything be done to stop the nag displays?
I/m gonna work on that for release 1.9.1 that and maybe get help doing better .exe file any other things that come up but for right now I set the task bar properties to set that icon to hide and not notify even though it still does for me...lol It doesn't really bother me since it's free and you dont have to reinstall after 150 days with my program...lol
to be honest the nags wouldn't bother me either, but some people hate that silly little stuff and it really bothers them, do we know how often the nags come, i hear it pops up more and more as time zero comes
Funny it's my program but no I don't know like maybe once every couple days...lol I will ask the programmers here if they can help me do reg command or something to stop nag. And it's a fine tunning thing for this program so thanks for the help
Has anyone discussed this or tried this 360 day method, (does it work?) Extend Windows Vista and 7 Trial Period from 120 Days to 360 Days You have to use the same slmgr -rearm command in this method too. So here is the step-by-step method: 1. Click on “Start button -> All Programs -> Accessories“. Right-click on “Command Prompt” and select “Run As Administrator“. If you are prompted to enter password, enter the password and continue. You can also open Command Prompt in Administrator mode by typing “cmd” in Startmenu Search box and press “Ctrl+Shift+Enter“. 2. Now provide following command: Code: slmgr -rearm 3. You'll be prompted to restart Windows, restart it and the trial period will be reset to 30 days again. 4. You can use the same command 3 times. In this way you'll be able to use Windows for 120 days without activation. 5. Now its time for the main trick. Open regedit and goto: Code: For Windows Vista: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\ SL For Windows 7: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform 6. In right-side pane, change value of SkipRearm to 1. 7. Now you'll be able to use the slmgr -rearm command 8 more times. So you'll get total 360 days for using Vista and 7 without activation: Code: 120 days by using slmgr -rearm command Before Registry Editing + 240 days after registry editing = 360 days
In this thread it would be respectful to test the method you suggest your self before posting it! And curious how this is suppose to be better than the GUIDE or InfiniteRearm4 since it only takes like 5 minutes every 150 days to do reg commands from PE or RE. And in the GUIDE or InfiniteRearm4 you can use windows 7 for 2.4 times a year with only spending like 10 minutes a year in RE or PE. plus it rearms automatically and it's quicker to not have to open cmd line with the GUI buttons available.
I was not trying to be disrespectful or suggesting this to be better than the GUIDE or InfiniteRearm and was really asking "Has anyone discussed this or tried this 360 day method, (does it work?)" and just simply posted this info for anyone who's interested
