well i have a problem, when i try to removewat ican't. I mean it will and reboots but when i check on it it says wat not removed? So i guess im stuck with it
Indeed I suggested it might be a good idea to make as automatic and simple a Windows7RearmTask .bat file as possible for the beginning or intermidiate user. I have no idea why I can't boot from DVD right now...lol I am burning with UltraISO right now to USB and will attempt a DVD/USB (WinPE) cmd prompt execution of reset.bat then hopefully reboot then be all good. Also I believe i was experiencing user error when I got into (WinRE) via reboot F8 to repair computer and didn't enter the reset.bat and entered the installTask.bat instead...lol Wish me luck...lol And thank you
May the force be with you. Instructions to use Windows7RearmTask.bat 1. Run the file as Administrator If you want to reset your rearm count 1. Launch CMD prompt in WinPE 2. Run reset.bat from your OS drive. 3. Reboot your system Rearming of windows is taken care of by the Task Scheduler. Uninstall instructions 1. Run the removeTask.bat as Administrator. It can't get any easier than this.
Through install DVD at boot like MasterDisaster suggested or at reboot click F8 and choose "repair your computer" The instructions should reflect as such
I choose WinRE cause I couldn't get into WinPE for some unknown possibly affected by "solar flares" type of reason...lol I have no clue why today out of all days I can't boot from USB or DVD...lol
About two hours ago I was thinking the same thing. I mean I go into bios into configuration. I have a Compaq v3000. Then I set top boot order to DVD or USB hard drive or USB key and then save and exit with F10 key and right into windows it goes...lol I'm celebrating right now with having such a cool .bat file and having received such good communication that I'll not worry about it right now...lol But if anyone has any ideas I'm listening...lol p.s. If I'm in Windows I can still install form DVD or USB or mount. It's if I cant get into Windows that I'm screwed...lol O-well...lol
Use UltraISO to create a bootable Win 7 media 1. Open UltraISO as Administrator. 2. Open the Windows 7 ISO 3. In Menu, Bootable -> Write Disk Image 4. Press Write.
