The strange thing is that there's a lot of mixed policies. On their phones, for example, they're starting to do an encryption that won't let you access any of the data unless you have the credentials. That's a big step in the right direction, in my opinion. I've heard that Android phones are going the same route. The problem is that a lot of their old policies are still from pre-Snowden days, so they'd have to go around and find all the privacy issues and fix them to make a difference. I wish I could say that there'd be a good way to encrypt their cloud stuff so that they couldn't abuse it, but there isn't. They're responsible for the content contained on their servers much like employers are responsible for how their employees use the internet from the office. Since they have ownership of the servers, they're held accountable if someone used it, for instance, to send classified data to a 3rd party. I guess they could make it so only the person with the credentials could access the data. That would seem right. Then they could just make it so you cannot send any data or links to the data. The FBI in America, right now, is having a tantrum over the encryption. They're saying it "enables criminals". Like they cannot do old fashioned police work anymore. Lazy!
Isn't it that apple denies the acces from the owner of the data if they could not provide the needed credentials, but have lose a lot of those data in milions of records to hackers because of their unsecure system?! Apple handle the customers like a child in an kindergarten. You have to pay a lot of money for their staff, which is produced in China to near 100%from very low payed employee's (even kids of 12 years of age) in an slavery alike environment, and you couldn't even do what you like with that staff you paid for!! You do what you want, you lose your warranty! And for sure the Company Service too! Has IBM ever started a single court case against producers of the PC-Clone? Nada! Apple have open a lot such cases against producers of the so called Mac Clones in the past and thousands of Patentcases against even very small offenders! That just something else which hinders that I ever would buy any Apple Staff!
I just think they're extremely over-rated. A comparable Windows system of any variety costs half as much money, typically. I understand that they just contract work out to the lowest bidder (Foxxconn in this case). They're still responsible, once they know about poor working conditions, to help the situation. Srsly Apple? suicide nets? There's also some evidence that some of the chemicals are being absorbed into the workers systems and causing cancer. I would *hope* that MS would never allow a contractor to treat their employees this way, no matter what country they're in. I would also hope that they will respect our privacy in the final version and not try to force any cloud integration on us if we don't want to use it.
First: Steve Jobs answered in some interview (I had listen live on an radio played 2 or 3 years ago) , as questioned about the Child work etc., that HE didn't could do anything, he just let produce his hardware from them but have any say in the production! True? Nada! As such one of the biggest (if not the biggest at all) Customer of Foxxcon, he had been able to pressure a lot! I believe the fact was that he'd to close his eye's to keep the cost of production as cheap as apossible to be able to make the biggest win! Steve Jobs was never such social as Bill Gates, never ever! Steve Wozniak was different and such they couldn't work closely together as the business was rising! If MS would use such contractors, I do believe that Bill Gates would jump in to stop! And I also believe and hope for sure, that the privacy will be respected in the finals, if not, MS will be gone for my company and our customers and myself.
Agreed that it's still pretty buggy... I know what you're talking about. I don't understand why the left-click menu power button only allows you to restart/shutdown, and we have to context-click the start button to bring up manage functions and actually get to the log-off option. It's in flux, no doubt, but on balance I prefer the single-column left/right-click operation to the traditional dual/multiple columns menu.
I've been somewhat busy. I'll get the new script for the double entries done pretty soon. I haven't had much in the way of time to take care of it. Also was taking care of some dark side stuff so we can standardize some stuff.
Does the following work script wise? Code: Function Route_Table_Updaterer (){ $b = Get-Content $PWD\ip_addy_list.txt ForEach ($i in $b) { route add -host $i reject }} Route_Table_Updaterer Along with the: Removal script...
do not disable the keylogger or else windows will start to break down trust me i went through it and all it collects i crashes and touch screen keyboard data
I'd like to take this time to say a few words. You are an idiot. The methods described in this thread are experimental. Even the script being worked on by me is experimental as we tried to make that fact very clear. Also why would you use a pre-alpha Operating system on your computers (Facepalms)?
no need to be a ass hat about things jeez grow some pride and grow up and next time don't take anytime to say anything and remain silent all you did was show how useless you are gg
Actually using an operating system that hasn't even cleared beta status let alone feature gold status is stupid. We are trying to create a script that stream lines disabling these features that give feedback to Microsoft. You have been warned countless times that using a experimental OS with an experimental Script is kinda bad. Also seeing as I created the scripts to make this happen I think I have a little experience for making this happen. Along with the painful task of taking apart the OS and diving into the registry. The only purpose of this is to make a script for features that may be in the final copy of Windows 10. That is all. Now I would advise installing Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 Update 1 on your devices that have Windows 10 on them currently. Well that or learn what the meaning of stable operating system means. I'm not being an ass about this... yet.
