Hi. I have old motherboard with AGP slot and graphic card ATI HD3450. Problem is, that MB has only one IRQ for AGP, so HDMI show error and slow down CPU. But there is way to fix it - add second IRQ to ACPI table. I found this site: techpowerup.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106690 Where it is described, but I never edited bios... Link for original + moded SLIC2.1 bios you can find here: forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/7500-All-Slics-2-1-%28Modded-Bios-List%29-Note-For-requests-use-Bios-Mod-Requests-section/page1290?p=747530&viewfull=1#post747530 Did anyone already make it? Thank you
Thanks. The email notification looks, that doesn't work 100%, 10min ago I just moded it my self (I was bored ). But if you want, I can try reflash it and let you know... I had also problem with iasl so I used the microsoft asl and it worked. Maybe this error is reason, why I had to reinstall one driver for raid...
OK, I reflashed the bios. HD audio is OK, I had to again reinstall one RAID driver (but now it automatically detected it as nVidia RAID, on mine it was as Unknown device). What's bigger problem is, that now I have IRQ error for PCI 11 function 0. But I didn't find, which HW it is I didn't have this problem with my moded bois...
I just found, what is the PCI 11 function 0. It's AGP controler. You had to edit something wrong... I extracted dsdt table from your bios and the AGP section looks different from mine: The yours is on the left... +others changes, what I know compared with PSPad Maybe the problem is, that you used iasl from Intel and me asl from Microsoft...
i didi it in a rush.. ill revice steps and what irqs are given and compare to the changes offered in the site. give me few hrs oops i see problem.. the _ADR is wrong. leave as original.. oopps i made a mistake change 1e to b0
Thank you man! Now it works without any error message, after installation I hadn't to reinstall any drivers and CPU is 2% in IDLE
Sorry for reviving an old post but I want to know if this is for any k8ns revision. I'm having IRQ bsod related to the gart driver and my AGP card and I think this may solve it. thanks
