HackShield Games and Windows 8.1?

    I'm wondering how games that use HackShield will react to Windows 8.1. I remember back on all the Windows 8 betas/leaks, and even shortly after RTM, HackShield games didn't work.

    I guess we wouldn't know until the actual 8.1 build arrives in a few days, but for anyone who happens to be running any of the 8.1 leaks, have you tried any HackShield games?

    A lot of Nexon games such as Maple Story and Vindictus/Maginobi Heroes use HackShield.

    Just open MapleStory on leaked Blue builds and see it yourself:confused:

    Vindictus (non-Steam) starts fine on Windows Server 2012 R2 Datacenter (9431)
