On my desktop, I use E-MU DAS audio interface.
After clean install Windows 10 over Windows 8.1, it won't work if it is not set to 48kHz.
No sound at different sample rates, and control panel sound test function displays 'failed to play test tone'.

If you google 'failed to play test tone windows 10', you will see lots of problems there, like one this below.

I'm reinstalling Windows 8.1 because sound is very important to me.

I've only had this sound failure where did I go from Windows 8.1 to update Windows10. (No test ton)

Problem was eliminated when I completely clean install Windows 10.
