As of right now the only way that I have been able to activate V is to use wow5.2. some feed back would be nice. thanks in advance.
right, ive double made sure, ive changed my serial to make sure it is the correct one for the asus cert - no joy installed the asus cert again using oemcert installer (as i dont know the command to install the cert??), even tho im using an asus oem dvd that i know works fine - still no joy cleared the cmos, loaded defaults, still no joy im bout to reflash the bios again! Right its finally sorted the backup bios must have kicked in after the first time i flashed the bios, as i decided to do a fresh install of vista x64, and during its iinitial bootup it did hang for a good 2 mins then knocked off. Must not like the boot drive that vista creates? who knows? its sorted tho thanks for your time Zort! always remember to clear the cmos and rest to default settings after a flash! (didnt do it first time round )
moley85, I'm glad you were able to get it working. I don't know the reason for the initial difficulties, but you're right that clearing cmos & loading defaults oftentimes solves problems after updating to a new version of a bios. zort
hi but isn't this GA-EX58-UD4P a gigabyte motherboard cuz im interested in that board and how come you are using asus cert? is it the same?
Technically, depends on the SLIC in bios..There is NO SLIC in the Official release of the Gigabyte bios..
