    Windows Update's still saying "No important updates available" - missing something or still not yet released?

    Hours to Go..

    Precisely dude.. I've been counting hours since last week to reach this date.. Microsoft will release the updates by about 1 PM ET (Eastern Time)... so gotta wait..this could be 5-6 hours from now as far as I know (correct if if I'm mistaken)..:eek:

    Scanning since 3 am current time in the morning in vain... but the issued updates have to be released today based on Technet reports.. Keep your eyes peeled.. :eek:

    Moreover, keep checking the Updates Compatibility Center to ensure all updates are safe.. Reporting updates is also appreciated from volunteers..;)

    Towards the end people, it's time to get the show started.. and trust me.. we'll rock out the show.. :cool:

    Updtes get released at 11AM pacific time.

    GMT Time is 7 hours forward, which means GMT users will recieve them around 7PM GMT

    There should come a lot more updates for Windows 7 than for Vista, because 7 had no patch day in august and in september. 13 is the official number for the regular Vista/XP updates I think.

    Wonder if people who have the Update packs installed will still recieve updates. As the update packs contain about 55 i think

    Dont think so, last time they released a hotfix it didnt appear for me because i already installed that one 2 months ago.

    Thanks for the info, guys.

    Wonder when it was the last time that people were so curious about some Windows updates... ;D

    Especially under the... uuhm... "circumstances" emanated from these forums... ;)

    updates out now in UK 6 updates, will install now and report back

    update..     all installed ok still activated SLIC Bios ftw

    Had 10 total, 5 for windows and 5 for office 07. Installed and eveything is A-OK.

    Updates Confirmed!!

    5 Windows 7 Updates.. Everything will be tested and reported hopefully.. :rolleyes:
