I'm struggling with this as it's detailed in this forum and in the virtualbox forums, and I'm stuck on having to edit the xml file because right now I don't know where to get the dmi values from. Do you think that once I do get them I'll be able to run the OEM BIOS file correctly like its detailed in the windows xp repository?

The weird thing is the OEMBIOS iso file only has a readme file, even though it claims to be 1.75mb large even though the readme file is only 1kb large. And also, I don't know how I could run the OEMBIOS file from boot in a virtualbox guest. Its possible that the guest will respond correctly if I press F12 and it'll run the OEM BIOS file ok from Daemon Tools, but I'm not sure I want to trust this OEMBIOS file to sit in my host computer do you think it's safe?

Why Daemon Tools does virtualbox not allow booting from the ISO file similar to VMware.

VB does that, but the user... needs to be replaced!
