she sent me some more info in a email. im not going to post till i talk to her but ill see what she says tomm. she is a old friend as i said so i know she is not bs'ing about anything. right now though till i get it straight from her (i have some questions and ill ask her then she can go ask some higher people "just to be curious" if you know what i mean) ill see what she says tomm. she also said ms is FULLY AWARE of basically everything that goes on here and she said they DO in fact have ms people as member here asking questions fyi to everyone. she could not get me more than that she said she tried. i was hoping to get screen names lol... but she warned basically do not post anything personal here if you dont want them knowing about it. the person she spoke to actually said one of the guys even requested some mods here to play with.... she cant get to much more without being to nosy but she said she wants to talk to me more tomm.
Why wouldn't M$ get involved in a forum thats making them look bad, and you think that they only have one of their security specialist in here downloading everything that gets put out by the people who create programs to bypass their activation. The WATU was probably just placed out to collect info on most of the bypassing hacks, then when its fully released later they target 99% of the illegal copies, and just hit that 1% of OEM and legal users.
Of course MS hangs around here. But its a game of cat and mouse. So many sites dedicated to this. Hundreds of thousands. They fix it and some smarty releases a fix with in hours. And so on. So they can keep trying all they want. It will always be a losing game for MS. Tons of people are dedicated to hacking/cracking Windows no matter what they release to try and root them out. Some people just like the challenge and bragging rights.
If that's the situation, don't you think you should keep your post about "your friend" as vague as possible. No need to attract unnecessary attention. Just a thought.
Thats pretty much the gist of it! Like I always say, As long as there is someone (MS) to say it cant be done, there will be someone (the general public or some smart coder) to prove them wrong. The cat will eventually catch the mouse however the mouse has a bigger team on there side and there-fore will get away! Its like Tom & Jerry. MS has the freedom to price its products any way they want, but perhaps they should consider pricing the OS a lot lower for consumers. Enterprises and corporates anyway get cheaper and they generally use 100% genuine software including Windows. In India, Home Premium at around Rs. 5400 (US$115-120), with Ultimate at around Rs. 9,000-10,000 (US$200).
M$ problems would be solved if they charged us the same price as they do for OEM (Dell, Acer etc) $50.00 If they did that nearly everyone would buy it.
Discussing the fact MS people browse here also brings up the question as to why this a public forum, which makes no sense due to the nature of the loaders and patchers. MDL has no adverts, so nothing is lost if it goes register only. Is it to get more eyeballs on the site? I am not saying it would stop industry people coming here of course, but being public seems to just flaunt things. And does google have a 24/7 searchbot focused on MFL? Literally ten seconds after i post something, its referenced linked on google Without fail. Theres lots of good general Win 7 info on this site, maybe the cracking stuff could be a sub section of the forums, registered only, by invite. At least it would imply at least trying to keep it for insiders, not just free Win 7 for anyone who barely knows where the on button is?

as above said no bragging at all simply sharing info i was given. i was very vauge with any kind of description of the person. all they know is its a "her" do you know how many females work in the offices lol....and please dont hate the messenger as i said just relaying info. the reason she said she told me about them being here was because there recently has been A LOT of talk about mdl over there according to her even people in the office's know who mdl is when they get talked about. even after the release date of wat. and she knew i was on this forum so she wanted to mention it nothing more. i 100% agree this should be a non public forum...or at least require a log in and not show up on every single google search on anything releated

( That is if your post is directed towards me) I was stating that if you know ms have people registered here, and they are reading the posts. You might want to be as vague as possibly . Now they know that someone in their office is passing on information. Now if you take that as hating. That's on the person interpreting the post. Oh well !!
@ Armada. I wait with baited breath to see what news your friend brings. To be honest anyone with just half a brain should have expected that M$ has spies trawling the forums. Google "bios mod", were right there at the top of the page. IMO , its all a bit of a game. In the not too distant future OEM's will be using UEFI so the bios mods look to be uncertain for the future..... at least untill somebody comes up with a tool for modding UEFI.
