    Hello there,
I installed SRV2k16, because I want to learn Windows Server and I wanted to test out whether my GPU is working properly(can't do that in linux which is where I'm coming from). The official installer doesn't support server OSes. The only thing I'm able to do is install the extracted driver into system via pnputil. It shows up in DriverStore, but I have no idea how to switch my OS from using display.inf to their driver. The installer quits with hardware detection error.

Try use Windows 10 Driver, but do manually update driver... Extract the files, then click update driver under display card, then manual locate files in WIN10 driver then should work.. I Had done before with GT 210.. Works..

No amd gpu driver for desktop graphics cards past 17.12.2 has installed correctly for me on Windows Server. So my advice is to start with 17.12.2 and see if you can update from there, maybe you can get luckier than me.

17.7.2 WHQL manual install with update driver and point to INF works on my Radeon. Also, you can run the installation if ancillary programs are desired. I think the key for success is it should be any WHQL version.
