    I use both (and they are both good):
    • Hiatachi
    • Wester Digital

    The Toshiba I was get with the Laptop!

    It's just an LL formatting again and may I get the drive back to work! Not that I really would use an already brake drive again, it's just to see how that will behave anbd will test it for some time. The formatting speed ia app. 40-41MB/s which was more than double as I used it the first time. Will let run the LLF 2 or even 3 times. After that will use drevitalize for cross check.

    Does the tool invoke sanitize command?

    I have not idea what you mean by that, I could google it but I am not atm. Didn't know there was a command for that in Windows. You can use this or DBAN.
