So I have used the 1.9.2 version of Daz loader to keep Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit activated. Something changed recently and windows knows that it is not genuine. Noticed the Software Protection service running in services even though I didn't ever download 9710333 so I stopped/disabled it and then the next day I noticed the genuine warning. Going to try to reload the soft-mod but in the event that doesn't work I'm hoping I could get some direction on how and what I need to mod my BIOS. Have downloaded the MSI k9n modded bios file from the appropriate thread, and also have a "Certs" folder downloaded with XRM-MS files in it. Can someone please point out if I'm so far going in the right direction? I"m assuming the process goes something along the lines of install bios mod and then load the cert with slMGR but do I need to uninstall the soft-mod first? do I need to completely reinstall windows before doing BIOS mod? Will the fact that windows has detected it is not genuine affect my outcome? EDIT: Okay, really weird behavior going on now. I was going to try reinstalling the soft-mod with daz's tool and it didn't work so I figured okay I'll restart and try again. I restarted and now the Genuine Advantage notifier is gone and I was able to update without being informed of activation. What the hell is going on?
