How did you activate you vista prior to SP1 ?
What is the name of your board manufacturer ?
There might be a mod made and tested or there might be high succes rate on bios modd for your board.

so the key is the one provided in the text file...the 1 ending with cc?

If you are using Vista Ultimate you can use that key.
By the way, you can use any OEM Ultimate key, no meter the manufacturer...asus ultimate key will work on dell, Fujitsu and so on.
Dell ultimate key will work on asus, fujitsu and so on.

I'm experiencing the exact same issue as superdunkaroos with the GRLDR not found. Whats funny is that I have already successfully activated my business version before, but then after a reinstallation the v3.0.0.1 vista loader refuses to work again. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.

    Do this:
    1. Open "Windows Explorer", click "Organize-->Folder and Search Options"
    2. Select the "view" tab and unmark tha checkbox "Hide protected...", select "Show hiden files...".
    3. Browse to c:\ and delete the fille "grldr".
    4. Restart your computer and boot from the Vista instalation DVD.
    5. Choose English basic and click next.
    6. Click on Repair.
    7. Now vista will search for any installed OS, if you have more than one, choose vista and click next.
    8. Once the rcovery window opens click on Command Prompt.
    9. Once the Command Prompt is open, type "c:" and press Enter.
    10. Now type:
    bootrec /fixmbr press Enter
    bootrec /fixboot press Enter
    11. Restart.

Note. If the file grldr is not present, just continue with the rest of the steps.
