If i'm reading your error post correct. That error report is generated from power modes e.g. going from hibernation back to active screen. And the driver listed relates to hardware which didn't come with your original purchase. I.e. it's a driver/new hardware issue. If i'm incorrect in that assumption i apolagise and am sure i'll be corrected.
usually such behavior is result of problems with RAM, try Windows memtest (extended options in test) or memtest86 (search in Google)
Computer is home built. Gonna start memtest86+ now and let it run while I'm at work this afternoon....
I ran it from bootable cd, came back clean. I'm gonna run it again overnight, just to be sure. I'm leaning toward reformating and starting afresh. I guess if the problem persists after that....

Yea, actually I did download the debuger, but it appears to be beyond my skill set as I can't get it to do a damned thing... "Go" is greyed out...
