Only if it smells. Several other Forum users have used this download and have never replied back to say if it worked YES or NO. May be the file but are any of us X-spurts with Mac?
Jukebox provides MSDN clean files only and if you got the torrent client mentioned there, you load an authentic file like you get from MS directly. After the load you need to get after your install procedure
i don't seem to have the magnet button. my window is different since i'm on mac. is there any other way to do this? apparently i can open magnet links and they automatically start downloading in utorrent, but no button that i can see where i can enter your info
there is magnet client for mac as well, just download it edit btw: this is a windows thread and my sig reads the most of it
Without checking the hash of the already downloaded ISO, there is a high chance OP is downloading the identic ISO again via the Jukebox. Only saying ... . Not sure how this should help ?
not positive here if all that helps since I'm a mac-none-user. Only thing I know is that my files meet the specs
I know they do Paul . The files from softicle have repeatedly been reported being legit. So a hash check would show any corruptions. Limitation: only en-US version is offered for direct download.
good, but this is not the solution of our friend's problem. One hand he says he cannot load from box via magnet and on the other one he allegedly has the file ... what shall I think? I tell you ... I go to sleep now. Period see you tomorrow guys
We can provide links to ISOs, ESDs, and torrents but any help with Bootcamp will have to come from the Mac community. Have you tried any Mac Forums? It's the only suggestion I have left. Sorry I can't be of more help.
Ok, here's a thought: why don't you go the EASY WAY and just burn the iso to disc? Works everytime I use Bootcamp
i would do that, but the new retina doesn't come with CD drives anymore. and i don't have a external one
i need to format the USB?? LOL, okay well hopefully this works. if not can someone link me to the client with the magnet button actually in the client so that i can use what's on that jukebox thread?
okay formatting the USB didn't do anything. also it was already in correct format. maybe its the actual USB but i'd like to try the iso in the jukebox thread if i can. i don't have the option to enter the magnet link in utorrent though, mac has a different window
If it is in formatted in FAT32, remember there is a limit of 4GiB file size. If your ISO is indeed larger than 4GiB (binary GigaBytes) then it is too large to be saved onto FATxx without splitting.
