True that but for me all this computer related stuff for me is not just about getting the work done, I also want to learn as I go along. 4 primary partitions are good enough for me so I chose to go with MBR scheme. In the end it came out the way I wanted it to be. Thank you everyone for contributing in the thread. You know who you are. Next project: To play with sysprep and capture the Wim from a Virtual Machine.
Good. one important thing that has be mentionned, don't install any AV in audit mode otherwise you won't be able to boot from the image disk previously captured.
Thanks for the tip Mehdi. I'm unable to find a relevant thread by aboddi for this matter. May be I'll just post my own.
I've always preferred GPT whenever I install an OS in a system unit, unless MBR is specifically needed or demanded by it.
The great advantage of using GPT is that it can handle more than 4 primary partitions (i don't know how exactly but i know that it's much larger than 4)
Yeah, kind of like the advantages of using a USB formatted with NTFS over one with FAT32 in regards to file size limitations. Though I can't really attest that much for GPT since I use it in the same way I do with MBR.
